Her mother moved to Carmel in 1970 to open a needlework store. Working with her mom, Julie began experimenting with needlepoint design. Her work sold quickly and she became one of the store's most prolific artists. Today, Juli's designs are avidly collected by needlepoint afficionados all over the world.
